The Baltimore Comic-Con is a great show.  It does not have the Hollywood presence of some other shows like SDCC or NYCC, but it is great for a comic fan.  The show is large enough to attract big name creators, but small enough to get face time with them.  And while cosplay is generally synonomous with conventions, Baltimore has been pretty light on costume goers.

That changed this year, with the creation of the first annual costume contest.  But, it is much more fun to see these cosplayers in their naturally habitat--the show floor.  If you want to see the contest entrants,   The Baltimore Sun has that.

That Impulse Costume is tops.

and not just because I'm a huge fan of the character, it's very well made.

plus, you don't see too many people dressing as Bart!
