![]() When Marvel Ultimate Alliance came out from Raven Software and Activision, it was a comic fan's dream. Now, the companies are back with a new game and have attempted to re-bottle the lightning with Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2. Unfortunately, while the sequel has some advantages over its predecessor, the new game lacks much of the heart of the original. More after the jump: ![]() I recently recorded an episode for Comic Geek Speak, which is now up on their site. We chat about the recent notices of termination sent by Jack Kirby's estate. Geat guys, great podcast, great guest. ;-) It is available here I should mention that the two articles I referred to on the show are available at: The Man Hollywood Loves to Hate Shrewd Copyright Lawyer Gives Studios a Headache ![]() Neil Patrick Harris has been many things: Prodigy Doctor, insecure superhero, singing supervillain, Tony host and womanizing egotists. More after the jump. ![]() The first D23 Expo concluded last Sunday. The show was a huge success as Diney fans and big name guests came together to celebrate the magic that is Disney, including Johnny Depp, the Cast of Dancing with the Stars, John Travolta, Nicolas Cage, Tim Burton and Miley Cyrus. There were a lot of announcements over the weekend. I already posted about President and Chief Executive Bob Iger’s promise not to Disneyfy Marvel, the theme park expansion, the muppets, and the movies. Now, I have scoured the web to find the rest of the announcements (at least the most interesting ones.) This final part focuses on the Exhibit floor. So, sit back and enjoy a virtual video walk in the exhibition hall (without the smell or the lines). Lost kicks it off after the jump: ![]() I just found out that U.S. District Judge Stephen G. Larson is stepping down from the bench because Congress's failure to increase judicial salaries made it impossible to support his seven children, all under age 18. Why does that matter to Superman fans? More after the break. |
