DC TAKES US TO THE MULTIVERSE
 

MTV has discovered that DC Comic’s next animated movie will be Justice League: Crisis on Two Earths, which will be written by Dwayne McDuffie.  It is not clear whether the story will follow the Garner Fox classics available in Crisis On Multiple Earths, Vol. 1.










KICK ASS MAY ACTUALLY COME OUT

It looks like the Kick Ass Movie may come out as the Hollywood Reporter's Risky Business Blog reports that Lionsgate, Universal and Paramount are all competing to release the movie.  See my take here.

THE DEAD MAY WALK ON AMC

According to Variety Robert Kirkman’s Walking Dead series from Image may be coming to AMC with Frank Darabant (The Green Mile) writing and adapting the series.

HESTER TO DRAW DARKNESS

All around nice guy and damn good artist Phil Hester, the current writer for The Darkness, will also draw the two part story "Bog," for Top Cow Productions.

ANOTHER DISNEY CAST MEMBER DEATH

A 47-year-old Disney Cast member has died after hitting his head during "Captain Jack Sparrow's Pirate Tutorial."  This is the second on the job death of a Walt Disney World cast member. Two months ago, a Monorail pilot died after a collision.  The story is available at pretty much everywhere, but here is a link to foxnews.com.

DON'T TOUCH MINNIE'S YOO HOO

In strange but lighter Disney news, a man was found guilty of groping Minnie Mouse at Walt Disney World.  Here is the Associated Press coverage.

The FBI and Police are seeking the "Winnie the Pooh bandit" in connection with a Bank Robbery in Chicago.  See the story at The Chicago Breaking News Center.

The Hollywood Reporter is reporting that Ernie Hudson is joining the cast of heroes.  That’s one mighty big Twinkie.

The New Moon Trailer will be shown this weekend before the movie, Bandslam. You better get in line now.  If you can’t wait it’s here.BTW they are also apparently looking for extras for the next movie at Talenthunter.com

QUIRK BOOKS CONTINUES PUBLIC DOMAIN DOMINATION

COBRA WILL RISE AGAIN

As if it were a surprise, the LA Times has learned that Paramount is planning a sequel to G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra.
